Wow... The last few months have been a whirlwind of decision making and activity. I haven't spent a lot of time with a paintbrush in hand, but have made crazy amounts of changes.

Moon Ridge Studio & Gallery now exists as an actual brick and mortar. The opportunity came last fall, when the In-AWE gallery decided to close its doors.  The current leaser, Crested Butte Music Festival said I could take over, ...so I did. It is a perfect space for me.

I have a dedicated time to work, away from the home studio. I have an outlet for all my work with a window on Elk Avenue in downtown Crested Butte. And, I'm making friends with all the local knitters who come in to buy my yarn. There is just enough space for my drum carder and spinning wheel, so while I wait for paint to dry, or when I need to rest my mind with a repetitive task, I can hop on the wheel and recharge.

Mary Schmidt, wonderful photographer and lovely person shares the space with me. It is marvelous to bounce ideas off each other.

And today, I focused on getting my sites up and running.

More to come, soon.
